American troops flew in to support the exercise.
The United States military arrived in Moldova . A North Carolina Air National Guard C-17 landed at Chisinau Airport.
This was reported by the US Embassy in Moldova. It is noted that the plane with American military personnel flew into the country to support the Peace Shield exercises.
“Thirty-five members of the North Carolina Guard and U.S. Air Forces in Europe, in collaboration with the ministries of the Republic of Moldova, will practice response tactics necessary to ensure the safety of Moldovan citizens in the event of emergency situations,” the statement said.
In addition, the C-17 aircraft delivered medical equipment that will be transferred to the Moldovan Ministry of Defense as part of American assistance.
“The United States is proud to work with the government and people of Moldova to create a democratic, prosperous and secure future,” the embassy added.

Large-scale NATO military exercises are currently ongoing in Estonia. According to the French publication RTL, at these exercises France is training a special unit that “will be useful in Ukraine.”
In total, 14,000 NATO troops are taking part in the exercises in Estonia. The purpose of these trainings is to show Russia that invading the country would not be the best solution.

Excercising how not to intervene? If i’m ready to go in – i’m going in. No need to excercise if no intention whatsoever exists to actively engage the enemy.
Oh, we shouldn’t ignore the value of excercises, Mike. These can make troops ready for combat – it’s better to id and correct mistakes and problems before meeting the enemy. So, my suggestion: First the excercise, and shortly afterwards the real action of cleaning up the mafia shithole Transnistria. That would be “ein Abwasch”, as we Germans say, “one dishwashing effort”. 🙂
This action is meaningless. Everyone and their dogs know that our soldiers would skedaddle very quickly if the shooting should start. Their commander in chief is Biden, after all.
