Washington is considering replacing Polish fighter jets if Warsaw decides to send jets to Ukraine.

The US has given permission to NATO member countries if they choose to provide fighter jets to Ukraine .
This was announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, reports CNBS .
“This has a green light,” he said, when asked if Poland, which is a NATO member, could provide fighter jets to Ukraine.
The US Secretary of State also noted that Washington is considering replacing Polish fighters if Warsaw decides to send planes to Ukraine.
“In fact, we are now talking with our Polish friends about what we can do to meet their needs, if they really decide to supply these fighters to the Ukrainians,” Blinken said.

Apparently Poland said no but I don’t know what their reasons were. Its sad.
