At the same time, the version of the document proposed by the US does not contain any references to the sovereignty of Ukraine.

The United States is pushing to block a Ukrainian version of a UN resolution to mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, condemning Russia for its aggressive war, Bloomberg reports, citing its sources.

Instead, President Donald Trump’s administration called on all UN members to support the US text.

The publication’s interlocutors said they were “stunned by the US’s persistence” and its reluctance to condemn Russia for its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

While allies support Trump’s push for a lasting end to the conflict, peace will not be sustainable without guarantees of Ukraine’s sovereignty and holding the aggressor country accountable, one of the people said.

As the publication points out, the draft resolution proposed by the US does not contain any references to the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, which were part of previous UN resolutions.

The US resolution merely points to “the tragic loss of life during the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine” and “calls for a swift end to the conflict and for lasting peace.”

  1. The US have no allies in the West, and any country backing this russian/US resolution is no friend of Ukraine.

  2. Project 2025 is in full swing. When the ruble will be introduced as currency in the new American Russian territoriums.
