The United States fears that Iran is preparing to provide Russia with modern short-range ballistic missiles to wage war against Ukraine.

Details: The American side says Iran has already provided Russia with combat drones, guided bomb units and artillery shells.
Concerns about ballistic missiles increased after Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu visited Tehran in September, where he was shown Iranian Ababil and Fateh-110 ballistic missiles.
“We are therefore concerned that Iran is considering providing Russia with ballistic missiles now for use in Ukraine,” a National Security Council spokesman said.
The White House also confirmed information to the WSJ about the intentions of the militants of the Wagner terrorist group to transfer the Pantsir-S1 air defence system to the Lebanese paramilitary group Hezbollah, which supports Iran.
Russia has become closer to Iran after its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Among other things, Tehran has provided the Russian regime with thousands of kamikaze drones that kill Ukrainian civilians, as well as the technology to produce them. Since last year, there have been unconfirmed reports that Iran may have transferred ballistic missiles to Russia.
In October, in accordance with the agreements reached under the Iran nuclear deal, a UN Security Council resolution that imposed restrictions on Iran’s ballistic missile program was terminated.
Russia then said it would not support continued sanctions, unlike Western guarantors of the nuclear deal, potentially hinting at cooperation with Tehran on these technologies.

This is what happens when the West is run by cowards that are scared of “escalating” the war. All is does is encourage the exact opposite, and let the nazis escalate without any comebacks. A smart guy would tell Iran and Russia, any Iranian missiles get used in Ukraine, then we’ll give Ukraine everything they want.

That didn’t happen.
South Korea had $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds. President Biden allowed the Iranian funds to be transferred from South Korea to Qatar. That money can only be spent on food and medicine for the Iranian people (who are suffering under Iran’s Islamic regime). And not one penny of those funds has been spent to date.
The release was done under a waiver program instituted by trumpkov when he was in office. And after the Hamas attack, all the money was frozen.

Larry all I’m saying is that someone who is so committed to Biden or Trump or Republican or democrat parties inherently have blinders. Open the perspective and you could be amazed as to what you see. I know as a life long republican. Once I removed that label there are allot of great things that I see from both parties as well as the crap. IMO

I’ve posted here before – Please don’t peg me as a Biden-lover – he was far from my first choice. But I think a lot of the Biden haters here are being unfair regarding his accomplishments.

But do you disagree that:
1. The White House did *not* give any money to Iran.
2. It’s Iran’s money that the White House allowed South Korea to transfer to Qatar.
3. The money was transferred under trumpkov’s waiver program.
4. Iran has not gotten one penny of that money.
Remember when you wrote, “Larry may I please address your comments respectful manner, rather then the animosity I’ve shown you.”? Maybe next time you could try starting by considering if what I wrote is true, rather than responding with a knee-jerk attack on me. Especially when I include a link to a news source you can use to verify the facts.
