US military contractor RTX Corp. has been fined $200 million for exporting military technology to China, Iran and Russia .

According to Bloomberg , RTX Corp. voluntarily disclosed the violations, which it said were caused by “misclassification of defense items under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).” The company also agreed to pay a fine to settle U.S. government charges that it violated export controls by transferring sensitive technology to U.S. adversaries.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that RTX subsidiaries’ failure to comply with U.S. export controls has led to sensitive technology being leaked to China and, in some cases, back to the U.S., where it has been blacklisted from military aircraft systems, including Air Force One.
“In one case, unauthorized exports helped reveal the design of environmental control components for the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler military aircraft,” Bloomberg writes.
The violations were said to have occurred primarily at Rockwell Collins Inc., an aerospace manufacturer that was later acquired by RTX’s predecessor, United Technologies Corp. Half of the settlement is on hold on the condition that RTX use the money to strengthen its compliance programs.
Sanctions against Russia
In August, the United States of America announced a new package of restrictions that were aimed at 400 legal entities and individuals – both in the Russian Federation and abroad.
The Swiss government also said it had decided to join further European Union measures as part of the bloc’s 14th sanctions package against Russia.

‘mistakenly’ as in we need a good profit.
As usual, the first 10% right off the top goes to the Biden crime family….
And Washington is wondering why Ukraine doesn’t divulge its secrets. All the world would know about it almost immediately.
Face<palm 🙄
