Washington is preparing a new aid package for the Ukrainian armed forces. The United States assured that this is not the last supply of weapons.

“There were three departures, there will be more in the future,” said John Kirby, a spokesman for the US defense department.
According to him, experts studied what kind of air defense and missile defense systems Ukraine needs.
“I think you can understand why we want to be careful about publicly advertising the opportunities we give Ukraine, given the size, scope and forces that are directed against it on the other side of the border,” Kirby concluded.
The United States has allocated an additional $200 million in military assistance to Ukraine.
On Jan. 22, a plane arrived in Ukraine carrying the first of several batches of a security aid package recently adopted by President Joe Biden. This shipment includes about 200,000 pounds of lethal weapons, including ammunition for Ukraine’s defenders on the front line.
On January 23, the second batch of military aid from the United States arrived – defensive weapons weighing more than 80 tons.
On January 25, the third aircraft from the US government arrived in Ukraine as part of military assistance. Later it became known that Washington had sent Javelin anti-tank missile systems to the Ukrainian army .

I most certainly hope that our weapons deliveries are more than anyone suspects. Keeping them secret is also a good idea. I am willing to forgive Biden a lot if our help is worthwhile.
