The ambassador expressed her firm belief that the United States and Russia should maintain existing ties “and establish new ones between Russians and Americans.”
The United States is ready for a constructive and respectful dialogue with the Russian authorities, despite “existing deep disagreements on many issues.” This statement was made in the New Year’s address by US Ambassador to Russia Lynne Tracy.

“Unfortunately, we live in difficult times, when conflicts and uncertainty continue to weigh heavily on countries around the world, including in this region. And the great need for diplomatic efforts continues to persist,” she said.
In addition, the ambassador expressed her firm belief that the United States and Russia should maintain existing ties “and establish new ones between Russians and Americans.”
“One of the main ways we do this is by keeping the doors open for direct people-to-people communication to preserve the long-standing ties between our nations. We continue to invite Russian citizens to come and study in the United States so that students, scholars, artists, and musicians can interact with each other,” Tracy added.
The ambassador also expressed hope that solutions for a “peaceful future” would be found in 2025, although she did not directly mention Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

Sounds even the American Ambassador in Moscow is paid in rubles. DONT MENTION THE WAR, DONT MENTION THE WAR!
It’s typical foreign service bullshit. It’s not like she can say… you’re all fuckin heathens and should drop dead. Just typical Washington Two Step
I bet she keeps her bags packed 😉
Heres some constructive dialog…”F%&k You Russia”!
Typical diplomatic bullshite. The mafia state is a crime syndicate and fascist entity that engages in massive terrorism, and thus deserves no diplomacy.
