If it was a recently launched Islamic Jihad rocket then the explosion would have been very intense because it still had an almost full load of load and this would also explain the fireball.

Radar shows it’s timing and direction came from Southwest of the hospital while hamas and it’s co-conspirators were launching a salvo. It would have been no advantage to Israel to hit the hospital, while it benefited hamas’ propaganda and their terroristic interests.
