Atesh, a Crimean underground resistance group, has reported that it has conducted reconnaissance of a deployment point of the Russian 126th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade in Perevalne.

Details: Atesh stated that there are a large number of personnel near the military unit. Most of them are not locals, they speak with accents and have appropriate symbols on their uniforms. Those soldiers are probably from Tatarstan, Chechnya and Dagestan.

Quote: “There is a checkpoint on the side of the military camp, manned by a two-person shift and reinforced by a police unit. Fifteen KAMAZ lorries are parked near the main checkpoint.

The majority of the unit’s servicemen are renting apartments in Perevalne itself.

From the facts mentioned above, it is clear that the Russian 126th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade is currently being used as a staging post before the transfer of personnel to the combat zone.”

  1. Atesh has been a very valuable asset for the AFU in providing it with intelligence information on the cockroaches. The stuff we see in such reports as this one are only the tip of the iceberg.
