Ukrzaliznytsia is returning rail links to the de-occupied Kharkiv region: from September 15, a rail bus will start running between Kharkiv and Balakleya .
This was reported by the press service of the carrier in the Telegram channel.
It is noted that in order to restore communication, the railway workers quickly restored the bridge and dozens of damaged tracks and contact networks.
So, train No. 6403/6402 Kharkiv – Balakleya – Kharkiv will depart daily from Kharkov at 07:00 and arrive in Balakleya at 08:55. The train will depart from Balakliya at 09:15 and arrive in Kharkiv at 11:10.
Train No. 6407/6404 will depart daily from Kharkiv at 15:50 and arrive in Balakleya at 17:40. It will depart from Balakliya at 18:00 and arrive in Kharkiv at 19:55.
“It will make stops at Osnova, Zhikhor, Zmiev, Zanki and Shebelinka stations,” the message says.
Ukrazaliznytsia noted that a convenient rail bus will be used on the route.
“The fare from Kharkiv to Balakliya is UAH 29. Tickets can be purchased at the box office and from conductors during the trip,” the press service added.
As UNIAN reported, last week the Defense Forces liberated or took control of more than 40 settlements that were temporarily captured by Russian invaders in the Kharkiv region, including the city of Balakliya .
