It is reported that today high-speed Internet is available in 16 “Intercity” trains.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” announced the long-awaited launch of Wi-Fi in ” Intercity ” and “Intercity+” trains: we are talking about 10 Hyundai trains, 2 Skoda trains, 2 Tarpan trains and 2 trains with MPLT cars.

“‎We have done what has been talked about for years. From now on, all passengers of high-speed trains have access to the Internet via Wi-Fi,”  the official website of the state enterprise  reports .

Getting access to the service is very simple – you need to turn on Wi-Fi on your device and select a network called “WiFi test”. 

After connecting, the page of the on-board portal portal.uz.com.ua should open. There will be basic travel information and an electronic menu. One of the options allows you to leave a review. 

New features allow you to use free 1 GB of traffic at a speed of up to 10 Mb/s. 

Currently, we are talking about experimental operation. During this time, Wi-Fi access will be free for passengers.

We will remind, the movement of high-speed trains of the “Intercity” and “Intercity+” categories was opened in 2012. 

The first “Intercity+” flight was made from Kyiv to Kharkiv on May 27, 2012. As of December 2014, more than 4 million passengers were transported.
