Ukroboronservice to hand over four Kolchuga radars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive from the State Enterprise “Ukroboronservice” four sets of stations for monitoring the electronic environment “Kolchuga-KE”.

Acceptance and acceptance tests of the complexes by representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planned for 2021, as stated in the company’s management report for 2020.

Modification “Kolchuga-KE” has the ability to work in a single radio reconnaissance system of the armed forces.

In addition, the company began testing microwave devices and the element base of components of anti-aircraft missile systems S-300PS (PT), S-300V1 and “Buk-M1”, developed by the company

It is reported that the work is being carried out in close cooperation with Ukrainian public and private companies with priority use of domestic components and technologies.

It should be noted that Kolchuga radio-technical reconnaissance stations were manufactured by PJSC Topaz in Donetsk.
