“Tonight, there is a high probability that we will not have to impose forced restrictions on consumers in these regions. But for this to be possible, it is necessary that the level of consumption in the energy system stops growing. Therefore, we ask all consumers to approach electricity consumption economically right now: turn off unnecessary electrical appliances in the morning and evening, when electricity consumption is the highest. This will reduce the load on the networks and facilitate the work of power engineers who restore them,” the message says.

The company also noted that the scale and complexity of damage in different regions are different, so somewhere more time is needed.

“Because of this, unfortunately, schedules of emergency restrictions remain in Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions ,” Ukrenergo added.
