Exactly 34 years ago, on January 10, 1992, Ukraine established diplomatic relations with the United Kingdom. Since then, Kyiv and London have become true allies. And not just in words, but in deeds. This is manifested in very different areas – from the transfer the Antarctic station “Faraday” to Ukraine in 1996, which is now called “Akademik Vernadsky” and where Ukrainian scientists conduct joint scientific experiments, to the effective support of Ukraine by the British during the war against Russia.

Since 1992, Ukraine and the United Kingdom have concluded dozens of international agreements. Among them is the One Hundred Year Partnership Agreement (2025), which establishes the strategic foundations for the partnership between our countries. A historical document that demonstrates the power of international law and friendship even in the most turbulent times.

I believe that we have many more years of mutually beneficial cooperation ahead. Especially considering the efforts the United Kingdom is currently making for the peace process and security guarantees for Ukraine. Ukrainians will always remember this support during our most difficult time🇺🇦🇬🇧

Once Oles Honchar addressed such parting words to the First Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, I sincerely wish that this path of yours will be successful and correct for our Fatherland, Mr. General Valerii Zaluzhnyi!

Russia is not preparing for the end of the war, it is preparing for a long confrontation. We see an intense war of attrition with frantic scientific and technological progress. And last night’s shelling is another confirmation of that.

In this confrontation, it is impossible to survive without the development of innovations and technologies. And only in close cooperation with Western partners. To stop the deaths and deprive the enemy of the desire to fight again.

Condolences to all who have lost their relatives and loved ones.

I would also add that Oreshnik exists mainly for Western audiences, not for the battlefield. Ukraine already lives under weapons designed for nuclear delivery, and the war has not magically changed because one missile flew farther.

Imposing even further cost in close cooperation and collaboration with Western partners is the way to go and eliminate Russia’s taste for battle once and for all, General.

……………..

It was a difficult path, but we overcame it.
From now on, the “Passport Service” is operating in London, thanks to which administrative services for Ukrainians have become simpler and more accessible.

Convenient organization of space, clear logistics, and professional team work. Serving Ukrainian citizens is quick and efficient. It’s about quality document processing service and real assistance that makes the lives of our citizens abroad more convenient.

I personally checked – it is already working and accepting applications from Ukrainians.

  1. “The current so-called peace talks are nothing more than kabuki theater, frog-marching Ukraine into terms of surrender which will only hold long enough for Russia to re-load and attack again in a few years.”

    My thoughts exactly.
    Can Ukraine trust Trump?
    Can you trust a scorpion?

  2. I’d wish officials in Ukraine dispense with this nonsense of security guarantees. Worst, these officials appear to ignore history, like fools.
