Biden expressed admiration for the resilience and courage of the Ukrainians.
Ukraine and Ukrainians are an inspiration for the USA and the whole world.
US President Joe Biden stated this when commenting on the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the White House.
“Ukraine and the Ukrainian people not only inspire us, they inspire the world. I was honored to receive President Zelensky,” President Biden tweeted and accompanied the message with a video.
In the video, Biden noted that it was “an honor for him to stand on the side of Ukraine in this brutal war that Putin unleashed.” Biden added that “the resilience and determination” of Ukrainians “inspires not only Americans, but the whole world,” and that Americans “proudly stand next to Ukrainians.” He also remembered “allies from Europe, Japan, and other countries” who provide the necessary financial, humanitarian and military support, Voice of America reports.
In the same video, President Zelensky thanks the President of the United States and the American people for this support.
