Ukrainian UAV allegedly “crashed” into a high-rise building in moscow

04.05.2026

An unidentified UAV appeared over Moscow on the night of May 4. The Russians said it allegedly hit a building, causing damage. It was later revealed that the UAV was a fully-fledged FP-1 attack drone.

The videos began to be posted on enemy Telegram channels around 01:00 on Monday. One of the videos features the characteristic sound of a drone flying. Most of the other footage was filmed at the scene after the so-called hit.

The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, responded to the incident. He reported that a UAV damaged a building in the area of Mosfilmovskaya Street.

“There are no injuries. Services are working at the scene,” he wrote at 01:42.

Propaganda publications specified: the walls of three rooms on the 36th (or 35th) floor of the building collapsed, after which the residents were evacuated .

As OBOZ.UA previously wrote, on the eve of the May 9 parade, Russia concentrated a significant part of its air defense systems around Moscow, which significantly weakened the defense of other regions of the aggressor country.
