Ukrainian Defense Forces fought off a massive Russian assault on the village of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.
The 79th Air Assault Brigade reported that the Russian invaders had engaged about 70 units of equipment in the assault.
“The invaders used 10 tanks, 47 armored vehicles with infantry, 10 motorcycles, and 1 buggy in one day,” the paratroopers said.
The Russian command tried to capture the village of Kostiantynivka in the Kurakhiv sector with a massive assault operation.
Several armored vehicles managed to break into the outskirts of the village and landed a landing party in the nearest houses.
These armored vehicles were destroyed by Ukrainian paratroopers, and Russian infantry were knocked out of the houses by drones that dropped grenades on the invaders.

Artillery, drone operators, anti-tank gunners, sappers, and infantry were involved in fighting off the invaders’ assault.
“Despite the enormous amount of Russian equipment, all the enemy’s efforts were once again nullified,” the paratroopers shared.

The military noted that during the battle, they hit 12 armored combat vehicles, 8 Russian tanks, 9 motorcycles, and a buggy.
36 invaders were neutralized, and another 32 invaders were wounded.

The Russian command has been trying to capture the positions of the 79th Air Assault Brigade near the villages of Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka for a long time.
Despite these assaults, the paratroopers continue holding their positions near the village and destroy a significant amount of Russian equipment. The village is now almost completely destroyed by heavy fighting.

Sir Cap, relax. Let the roaches take a field or two or a flattened village or two. As long as they are paying a high price in meat and material, it’s good. They will peter out sooner or later.
Remember, there is no sense in having Ukrainians die for those fields or flattened villages. Cut the enemy to pieces and make him pay a high price, over, and over, and over again is currently the right strategy. Even mafia land’s abilities are limited.
You’re right I need to relax. It’s just that I see allot of movement by the orcs but I don’t see us gaining any ground.
Onlyfacts is dead on today, the Russian military is getting destroyed and paying a heavy price in both manpower and machinery.
I feel your frustration though , no real counteroffensive to speak of and Russia is taking villages here and there. More air defense systems need to be destroyed so the F 16s and other aircraft can be put into use and turn the tides of the war.
It’s sad to see the land so devistated , littered with Russian Corpses and Military equipment.
The insanity that Russia keeps this up is mind boggling. I don’t think Russian wants to lose this war and appear weak to the world. Putin ego is too big for that. The question is what is it going to take to stop him?
Taking him out is the only way, plain and simple.
Much more courage from the West is needed. We have the economic and military power but not the willpower.
