Ukrainian troops continue to advance on various front lines in the Donetsk region. Recently, the Defense Forces advanced in the direction of Sloviansk, as well as in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also carried out counterattacks in the Zaporizhia region, the Institute for the Study of War reports.
Fighting in Donbas
Geolocated video footage released on March 24 shows that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have recently advanced southeast of Kostyantynivka, north of Ivano-Frankivsk (south of Kostyantynivka), and northwest of Stupochky (northeast of Kostyantynivka).
Geolocation footage shows Russian troops striking a Ukrainian position northeast of Kostyantynivka, an area where, according to Russian sources, Russian troop positions were previously located.

For their part, Putin’s forces attacked near Kostiantynivka itself; north of Kostiantynivka near Vyrolyubivka; northeast of Kostiantynivka in the area of Mynkivka and Malynivka; southeast of Kostiantynivka near Oleksandro-Shultyny; south of Kostiantynivka in the area of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillya, Berestok, and Illinivka; southwest of Kostiantynivka near Stepanivka; south of Druzhkivka in the area of Rusyn Yar; and southwest of Druzhkivka in the area of Novopavlivka and Sofiivka.

Russian troops are studying Ukrainian defenses in preparation for future offensive operations in the direction of Sloviansk as warmer weather sets in. Drier soil in warm weather allows Russian troops to use mechanized equipment.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine claim that Russian troops have different levels of training: advanced small groups are trained only for infiltration operations, while other forces have more specialized training.

Fighting in Zaporizhia region
Ukrainian troops continue to shell Russian military facilities and logistical facilities in the occupied part of Zaporizhia region.
The General Staff of Ukraine reported that on the night of March 24-25, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian communications hub near occupied Fedorivka (approximately 25 kilometers from the front line). The commander of the Ukrainian unmanned systems regiment operating in the Zaporizhzhia direction reported on March 25 that Ukrainian forces were conducting counter-battery combat and striking Russian ground communication lines. Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Buk air defense system, fuel and lubricants depots, as well as two trains carrying fuel, weapons, and ammunition.

We remind you that the Russian occupation army continues its active offensive in eastern Ukraine. The enemy expects to capture the city of Kostyantynivka in May.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the Russian occupiers made the largest breakthrough attempt in the Limansko-Borovsky direction on March 19. Putin’s army involved the forces of the 1st Tank and 20th Combined Arms Armies of the Russian Federation, but suffered huge losses.
