Ukraine is ignoring US calls to stop drone attacks in Russia.

Ukraine has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in long-range drones capable of searching for and hitting distant targets. There are now half a dozen companies making them.
“The best of the new models has a range of 3,000 km and is capable of reaching Siberia. Born out of necessity – the West was reluctant to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons – the program has undermined much of Russia’s oil and military infrastructure. But the White House is unhappy and is pushing the Ukrainians to stop blows,” writes The Economist .
America’s concerns ranged from rising oil prices to the prospect of an uncontrollable eye-for-an-eye attack in which Ukraine could be the loser. The latter’s fears grew at the end of March, when Russia caused multimillion-dollar losses to the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, the publication writes.
However, for now, Ukraine is ignoring American advice to stop the strikes.
An intelligence officer in charge of part of the program told The Economist that he had received no instructions to wind down operations. Although last week there was a shift away from targeting oil infrastructure, this is likely temporary. “Our goals change every day. We don’t give the Russians peace,” he says.
In addition, one of the drone manufacturers claims that not all American representatives agree with this US policy.
He notes that his contacts “winked” as they relayed warnings and privately “encouraged him to continue.”
Ukrainian drone attacks
As UNIAN wrote, since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has carried out a series of unmanned attacks on a number of Russian oil refineries. According to experts , the aggressor country has lost up to 15% of its oil refining capacity.
In early April, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked targets in Tatarstan with drones for the first time. They were 1300 km from the front line. The BILD publication wrote that Ukraine will soon use drones with a range of up to 2000 km or more , which can attack the Urals and the Arctic.

None of this would have happened had the West supplied Ukraine with the air defences needed, or the long range missiles supplied to Ukraine to destroy russian logistics. It all boils down to cowardice and Biden’s fear of losing the election because of high oil prices.
Higher oil price, or to destroy Russia in the meantime and win the elections, nope…………….

There we have it, Biden isn’t even taken for serious by his own officials. That’s such a tragedy! The president had it in his hands to become a shining icon of American ideals – freedom, democracy, justice – a true leader even conservatives could be proud of, but with arrogant ignorance, he wasted that golden opportunity. And that doesn’t drag only his own ratings down, but also the reputation of the US in the world! May God help him on November 5th, he desperately needs that support, because his campaign promise of being ‘at least not as bad as Trump’ really isn’t a huge motivation for the voters. That’s what happens to presidents without spine and courage! 😖
I’ve said it several times before, and I’ll say it again; the current government of the United States is the worst ever, this includes the administration, the Congress, and the Supreme Court.
