Ukrainian soldier killed in shelling in Donbas

Militants in Donbas opened fire 12 times. There are no casualties among the military personnel of the Joint Forces as a result of enemy actions.

As of 9 am on February 19, 19 violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded by the Russian-occupation forces, 16 of which were with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. One Ukrainian soldier was killed.

This was reported by the press center of the JFO headquarters .

As noted in the message, the enemy used artillery systems of 122 mm caliber, mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber, grenade launchers of various systems. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian soldier received a shrapnel wound incompatible with life.

As TSN war correspondent Andrey Tsaplienko reported on Telegram , on February 19, at 07:00, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was killed during shelling near the village of Mironovsky, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.

Thus, the Russian occupation troops fired on:

  • Novotroitskoye – from 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars;
  • Granite and Novoselovka – from 122 mm artillery;
  • Starognatovka – from artillery of 122 mm caliber and mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber;
  • Swamp – from mortars of 82 mm caliber;
  • Water – from mortars of 120 mm caliber;
  • Shirokino – from mortars of 120 mm caliber.
