Ukrainian pilot killed on F-16 plane

The life of 21-year-old Pavel Ivanov ended on April 12, 2025.

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, 21-year-old Pavlo Ivanov died while performing a combat mission on an F-16 aircraft . This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“We express our deep condolences to Pavlo’s family. He died in battle, defending his native land from the occupiers,” the message says.

The Air Force emphasized that today F-16 pilots are performing combat missions in various directions “in incredibly difficult conditions, providing fighter cover for air strike groups and striking enemy targets.”

“Ukrainian pilots work at the maximum of human and technical capabilities, each time risking their lives while performing combat missions. Pavlo was one of them!” – the department noted.

And they added that all the circumstances of the tragedy are being established by an interdepartmental commission, which has already begun its work.
