BREAKING NEWS: Ukrainian partisans claim infiltration and sabotage at Russian drone factory

A covert Ukrainian partisan group, known as “Black Spark,” has announced what it calls a major operation inside the heart of Russia’s weapons industry . According to the group, its agents spent several months undercover at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan, where production is underway for Russia’s Geran-2 and Geran-3 attack drones – domestically-produced versions of Iran’s Shahed drones, deployed against Ukrainian targets since the full-scale invasion began.

The partisans say they managed to gain access to the plant’s internal servers, covertly copying extensive databases containing employee information. These reportedly include home addresses, relatives’ details, supply chain data, and other sensitive internal records on everyone involved in drone production.

But the operation didn’t stop there, according to Black Spark. The group claims some of its members infiltrated the production line itself, planting “surprises” in newly assembled batches of drones. The partisans allege that these modifications will cause the drones to explode when operators attempt to launch them.

“This will reduce the number of those directly involved in launching Geran drones at Ukrainian cities,” the group said in a statement.

Black Spark also claims to have hacked the official Alabuga website. The group calls this a response to reports that 15-year-old students from Alabuga Polytechnic College have been forced to assemble attack drones – a practice that, according to the partisans, factory management openly boasts about.

The group further asserts that, after conversations with partisans, some Alabuga employees willingly provided assistance to help them infiltrate the facility.

Since the incident, the factory has reportedly been thrown into chaos. Administrators have physically disconnected servers from networks, while security services including the FSB are conducting checks to discover who helped Ukrainian operatives gain access to the system.

In closing their statement, Black Spark declared: “Once again, we’ve demonstrated that nothing is impossible for us. Special regards to those who will be forced to launch drones from the new batches.”
