Ukrainian paratroopers defeated a Russian airborne forces unit in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and showed a video.

“The troops of the aggressor state are making desperate attempts to drive out the units and military units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from the Kursk region,” reads the caption to the video published by the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Forces.

It is noted that on September 13, the Russian Federation dropped 14 units of military equipment on the positions of Ukrainian paratroopers: two tanks, 11 BMDs and one armored personnel carrier.

“The attempt to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ position was a failure: in a heavy battle that lasted several hours, the Ukrainian paratroopers proved that they understand military affairs better, having mastered the science of winning with flying colors. As a result, five BMDs, a tank and an armored personnel carrier of the enemy, as well as several dozen 200-s of Russians remained on the battlefield,” the DShV reported.

The surviving Russian soldiers fled, the report added.
