In the Siversky direction, Ukrainian defenders captured two Russian mercenaries from Cameroon.

The 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment reported this on Facebook , Censor.NET reports.

The Africans were captured by fighters from the K-2 Battalion, together with the 118th Land Defense Brigade and two other battalions of the 54th Motorized Rifle Brigade.

The captured Cameroonians stated that they were traveling to Russia ostensibly to make shampoo and treat teeth.

“However, at the airport in the Russian capital, they were met not as saviors from grease and dandruff, but as cheap substitutes for combat boots. The heroes of our video Metugena Unana, Jean Pafe and Anatole Franck, understood that they were not being dressed in swamp uniforms for planting turnips, but both signed a contract, for which they were promised 1 million 100 thousand rubles. This is significantly less than what the regime offers its own citizens, but for Cameroon it is decent money,” the report says.

Captured Cameroonian citizens said that among the Russian mercenaries there are citizens of Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, and China.
