On the morning of November 13, powerful explosions rocked the Russian city of Orel . Fires broke out in several areas of the regional center after the attack. Russians were gripped by panic after hearing “loud bangs” in the city.
According to preliminary data, Orel was attacked by jet UAVs. Monitoring Telegram channels report this.

An airstrike in the Oryol region was declared after 4:00 a.m. Shortly after, a series of powerful explosions thundered in the sky over the region. Russians complained on social media that Oryol was attacked by several waves of jet-powered drones.
For his part, local governor Andriy Klychkov claims that as a result of air defense operations, several objects were destroyed in the air and some of the fragments fell into the residential sector.
The official said that several cars were damaged, as well as the glazing of balconies of residential buildings and private households. Employees of the Ministry of Emergencies and law enforcement agencies are working at the scene.
Local residents complained that they saw remnants of the explosion, after which explosions were heard in several neighborhoods of the city. Explosions were also reported in the village of Znamenka, located a few kilometers from Orel.
More than 10 explosions were heard in some areas of Orel. The loud sounds were heard around 06:20 local time. It is alleged that debris from one of the drones fell into a parking lot near residential buildings and damaged several cars.
Recall, on the night of November 12, Russia complained about a drone attack on the Stavropol Territory. Explosions, in particular, were heard in Budennovsk. A fire broke out in the industrial zone there, which was confirmed by local authorities. Later it became known that the Stavrolen chemical plant was under attack.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the day before, on November 11, the Russian oil refinery in Orsk was hit by SBU drones. The place of arrival from the Ukrainian border is about 1,400 km. It was also reported that the General Staff confirmed the damage to the Saratov oil refinery, the oil terminal in Feodosia, and enemy facilities in the Donetsk region.
Jet drones attacked! This could mean that something important was targeted to warrant the use of some of Ukraine’s best drones. We’ll see.
