Details: Sybiha said he had a brief conversation with Rubio about US weapons during the G7 meeting held in Paris.
Quote: “We were reassured that for now, there is no talk of diverting this assistance to another region.”
Background:
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said earlier that Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman have submitted requests for cooperation with Ukraine on defence systems and the transfer of military expertise.
- Zelenskyy said that US weapons intended for Ukraine have not been diverted to the Middle East, although further developments will depend on a number of factors, including the duration of the war in Iran.
- On 28 March, Rubio said the US is not diverting weapons purchased by NATO countries for Ukraine to the Middle East, but did not rule out that it could happen.
- The issue arose after The Washington Post reported that the Pentagon was considering diverting key military equipment intended for the Ukrainian armed forces to the war with Iran.

I’ll take anything coming out of the WH with a huge pinch of salt.

Obviously we need some salt coming out of the corrupt media too.
Once a staunch friend of Ukraine, I’m afraid the word of Rubio is now worth jack shit.
He is now a crapulous kremlin shill who calls Zel a liar.
