Soldiers from Ukraine’s Karlson air intelligence unit have raised the Ukrainian flag on the left-bank part of the Kherson region.
The special forces unit said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
According to the report, the Ukrainian flag was hung on a port crane tower, which stands on the bank of the Dnipro River.
“This will be a bridgehead for the de-occupation of the left bank of the Kherson region!” the military said.
That would mean that UA forces have a toehold on the left bank. That’s simply great! Let’s hope that they can expand the bridgehead and form a new front line in this region.
