They will also be involved in the identification of the crash victims.
A Ukrainian plane carrying representatives of agencies that will be involved in the investigation into the crash of Ukrainian flight PS752 outside Tehran on January 8 has left for Iran.
“Among them are members of the State Emergency Service, the Defense Ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the SBU Security Service of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council, the State Aviation Service, the National Bureau of Air Accidents Investigation of Ukraine and UIA [Ukraine International Airlines],” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Press Secretary Yulia Mendel said on Facebook late on January 8.
Mendel said the Ukrainian side would also be involved in the identification and repatriation of the bodies of the Ukrainians killed in the air accident. As UNIAN reported earlier, Kyiv-bound UIA flight PS752 crashed shortly after takeoff from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport in the early hours of Wednesday, January 8.
It was carrying 167 passengers and nine crew members on board. Two passengers and the crew members were Ukrainians. There were also 82 citizens of Iran, 63 citizens of Canada, 10 citizens of Sweden, four citizens of Afghanistan, three citizens of Germany and the United Kingdom each. There were no survivors.

I hope all these Ukrainians together demand the black box and coordination with Boeing if they really want to find out who killed their citizens.
Why have Germany and the UK been so quiet, they also lost citizens? They should be offering to read these black boxes, that is of course the Iranians want them read in the first place.
And the Swedes lost 10, haven’t heard a peep.
This is the only response from Sweden.

The Swedish foreign minister and the prime minister have both been in contact with Ukraine. I hope Sweden will take part in the investigation as they was invited to by Zelensky, it’s a lot of expertise on planes here at SAAB.
A new article from Swedish Radio now:
“The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority has appointed an expert to be in contact with Iranian authorities and with families of those killed in the Tehran air crash.
Peter Swaffer, himself a pilot, says he will be able to explain to families of the deceased what the Iranian authorities find in their investigation, and explains how it will work.
Given that I am an airline pilot I can help to interpret the information, maybe dismiss some rumors and be a door-opener to other authorities,” he says.”
