Ukrainian drones have destroyed one of the buildings at the Kotovsk Gunpowder Plant in Russia’s Tambov region.
Satellite images showing the aftermath of the strike were published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+. The plant was targeted on July 25.
The latest imagery indicates that the facility is expanding, with new production buildings under construction.
This is not the first time the site has been attacked. A previous strike was reported in June.

The facility in Kotovsk, part of the Rostec state corporation, produces over 200 items, including pyroxylin powder for small arms, grenades, grenade launcher rounds, and artillery and mortar munitions. It is located approximately 360 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
It remains unclear whether the latest strike has affected operations or production volumes.

Ukrainian drones recently struck the Nevinnomyssky Azot chemical plant in Russia’s Stavropol Territory. The facility is a key part of the country’s explosives production chain and is one of the largest chemical plants of its kind.
Residents reported multiple explosions and flares near the site. The mayor later posted a video of the plant and praised its employees, effectively confirming the attack.
Analysts from the Dnipro OSINT group reviewed video footage and confirmed the drone strike. They believe that the “acetylene and acetaldehyde production section of shop No. 9” was hit.

With videos and images available around the globe, it’s not easy to deny hits having been made, although many other ruskie mayors and governors still try it.
