On the night of July 10, explosions were heard in Russia, especially in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Oblast. In the former of these two regions, according to local residents, the Ilya Oil Refinery was attacked and a fire broke out there.
In the Rostov region, an optical-mechanical plant, a port terminal, and probably an oil depot were reportedly hit. Details are reported by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.
Port terminal in Taganrog attacked
This morning it became known that as a result of a Ukrainian attack, the port terminal of Kurgannefteprodukt LLC (Yugtranzitservice OJSC) in Taganrog, Rostov Region, Russia, caught fire.
“The main function of the terminal is the unloading and loading of petroleum products onto sea vessels,” Exilenova+ noted.

An optical-mechanical plant was struck in Azov
Also that night, the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant was attacked in the Rostov region.
Joint Stock Company “Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant” (JSC “AOMZ”) is a machine-building and instrument-making enterprise located in the city of Azov, Rostov Region. The plant specializes in the production of optoelectronic, radar and high-precision systems, and is part of the defense-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

“In Azov, local residents report that several fires broke out after the attack, and it is likely that an oil depot was also attacked, ” Exilenova+ added at 06:44.

Ilya Refinery under attack again
The first report of the attack on the Ilsky refinery appeared on the channel at 03:33 am.
“Ilsky (a village in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar Territory. – Ed.), local residents report that the refinery was attacked,” Exilenova+ noted.
The channel also collected videos taken by eyewitnesses to the attack: they show
the glow of the fire and smoke rising into the sky in the area of the oil refinery.
Russians themselves are actively discussing loud explosions in local chat rooms and mentioning both the Siversky district and the attack on the oil refinery.

The Ilya Oil Refinery (KNGK-INPZ LLC) is one of the largest oil industry enterprises in southern Russia. Its design capacity is about 6.6 million tons of oil per year.
The enterprise produces motor gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, and bitumen.
Since the refinery is located in the Krasnodar Territory, close to the Black Sea ports, it plays an important logistical role in supplying fuel and lubricants to Russian military groups, particularly in the south of the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
This determined its fate: due to its direct participation in supplying the occupation forces. After the start of full-scale aggression, this refinery repeatedly became the target of strikes by Ukrainian long-range drones: the attack on the night of July 10 was at least the 17th.
The last time the Ilsky refinery was hit was on June 2: then a fire broke out at the enterprise, and later the General Staff confirmed the damage to the Ilsky refinery.
As OBOZ.UA reported, earlier footage of burning Russian tankers in the Sea of Azov appeared online. In the last 24 hours alone, 12 tankers have been hit.
