It took three days to extinguish a fire that was ignited by a Ukrainian drone strike on an oil depot in the Russian town of Azov in Rostov Oblast on June 18, Radio Liberty reported on Telegram on June 22.
Satellite images taken after the smoke from the fire dissipated showed that three of six fuel tanks were burned in the attack.

Earlier, on June 18, NV sources within the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) confirmed that the attack on the Azovnaftoprodukt oil depot and facilities in Russia’s Rostov Oblast was carried out by the Ukrainian drones.
The facilities collectively house 22 fuel storage tanks, the sources said.
The attacks triggered significant fires at the facilities.
In total, Ukrainian drones have conducted over 20 successful strikes on Russian oil facilities across different regions.

Ukrainian sanctions are far more effective than the loophole ridden sanctions from the greedy West. 3 storage tanks destroyed which must have housed millions of dollars worth of oil, plus the destruction of the tanks as well, all at a cost of a few thousand dollars. The remaining 3 tanks can’t be in much better shape after being subjected to 3 days of intensive heat.
