As of July 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated Kindrativka in Sumy Oblast, inflicting serious losses on the enemy. Two days earlier, Ukrainian defenders liberated neighboring Andriivka , for the second time this year.

During the liberation of both settlements, the enemy suffered significant losses, in particular, the battalions of the 40th and 155th separate marine brigades, as well as the motorized rifle battalion of the 30th separate motorized rifle regiment, were affected. Moreover, the commander of the last battalion of the invaders was eliminated.
In Kindrativka, the occupiers “were surrounded for quite a long time, they had to be smoked out,” which took some time. Achieving such success was possible thanks to the effective tactics and non-standard methods of combat used by the 225th Separate Assault Regiment.
“Once again, this unit has demonstrated its ability to conduct professional offensive operations, confirming a high level of training and effectiveness,” DeepState analysts note.
Kindrativka is a settlement in the Khotyn settlement community of Sumy district, Sumy region. The head of the Khotyn community, Mykola Toryanyk, claimed that at the time of the occupation of the village, its population was six people .
“There are two people in Oleksiyivka and six in Kindrativka. There is no connection with them, there is no way to evacuate them either, because there are Russians there. The population was evacuated from Volodymyrivka, Novomykolaivka, and Andriyivka,” he said.
