The Su-35 was also under attack, but its pilot maneuvered.

Air Force Commander Nikolai Oleschuk said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a Russian Su-34 fighter.

As he said on Telegram, the Su-35 pilot managed to maneuver, but the Su-34 crew was much less fortunate.

“This time I can say that the Su-35 pilot was lucky – he maneuvered and is no longer taking risks. But the Su-34 crew is joining our section “Eternal flight, brothers.” I have good results of objective control so that no one doubts. Rumors are circulating “that I’ve been in a bad mood lately. I have no right to this! With such combat work, it is simply wonderful,” Oleschuk wrote.

Destroying Russian aircraft

Recently, the Russian occupiers began to rapidly lose their aviation. In particular, on February 17, in the eastern direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces  destroyed three enemy aircraft at once  – two Su-34 fighter-bombers and one Su-35 fighter.

The next day, air defense forces “landed” the Su-34, and on February 19  they shot down  the Su-34 and Su-35S.

A representative of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, said that the Defense Forces have tools that allow them to reach the enemy over long distances .

Italian military expert Thomas Thaner claims that the battery of the American Patriot air defense system transferred by Germany to Ukraine   has already shot down 18 Russian aircraft.

    • All friends of Ukraine! And if this continues, both hands won’t soon be enough to keep track anymore. 7 planes in less than a week, wow! This should send a clear message to Russian pilots: Keep a large distance from the frontline and better drop glidebombs on occupied territory than risking to move into Patriot airspace!
