Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy enemy MiG-29 and Ka-27 – General Staff

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a russian MiG-29 fighter jet and a Ka-27 helicopter. It was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 2.

“Based on an analysis of additional data, it has been confirmed that a Ka-27 helicopter was destroyed on August 30, 2026, near the Yeysk airfield in the Krasnodar Krai,” the statement said.

Also, on the night of September 2, the Ukrainian military carried out several operations to strike enemy military targets, including:

an ammunition depot in the temporarily occupied town of Volodymyrivka in the Donetsk Region;
a depot of logistical supplies belonging to an occupying unit in Ocheretyne, Donetsk Region;
an area where enemy weapons and military equipment were concentrated in the Bryansk Oblast.

Ka-24 helicopter

The enemy Ka-24 helicopter is designed to detect, track, and destroy submarines traveling at depths of up to 500 meters.

As a reminder, the “Staff” crew from the 158th Mechanized Brigade used a Ukrainian LITAVR drone to destroy an enemy Shahed drone carrying FPV drones on its wings.
