The Ukrainian Air Force bombed a border outpost of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation in the Kursk oblast with precision-guided munitions.

The footage of the attack was published by the Soniashnyk Telegram channel.

An aircraft struck a target in the village of Tyotkino using two JDAM-ER bombs.

According to the report, the buildings, located 2 square kilometers from the Russian-Ukrainian border, could have housed military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.

Due to specific characteristics, the damaged buildings can be matched with those located at the border outpost in the Glushkovsky district of Kursk Oblast.

The bombs destroyed buildings that were presumably barracks and the headquarters of the outpost.

A week earlier, the Soniashnyk Telegram channel released footage of another airstrike by the Ukrainian Air Force on targets in the same village.

Ukrainian aircraft hit command and observation posts, and a hangar with military equipment.

Encirclement of the Glushkovsky district

The village of Tyotkino is currently outside the operational area of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. However, it may soon find itself in an operational environment.

The Russian Glushkovsky district, which includes this and a number of other settlements, borders Ukraine to the south and west. The left bank of the district is connected to the right bank by three bridges along the Seim River and has a land “corridor” in the east, which is already partially controlled by the Ukrainian military.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force recently destroyed two of the three crossings over the Seim River in the villages of Glushkove and Zvannoye with precision bombs.

The Russians are trying to respond quickly to the threat. On August 13, OSINT researcher moklasen discovered a pontoon crossing of the Seim River near the village of Glushkovo on fresh satellite images.

  1. Wonderful! I hope every one of those cockroaches got smoked.
Could this sector be another venue into mafia land for the AFU? A first step would be to hack off the serpent’s head, like this strike did.

  2. It appears that Ukraine will be attacking from the West to put the orcs in a huge cauldron. With no bridges left they will either have to fight or swim.
