Ukraine’s territorial losses will be recorded in the agreement, but this does not mean their recognition, – Kellogg

According to him, the issue of territories should be looked at in the long term, but “this is part of the negotiations.”

Ukraine’s territorial losses as a result of Russia’s war of conquest could be recorded in a peace agreement. However, this would not mean official recognition of these territorial losses, said Keith Kellogg, Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia.

“They will not go back to the 2014 borders, the borders they had before Russia went into Crimea. I think there will be some agreement on the potential loss of territory. But it is not necessarily acknowledged – we did not do that with the Baltic states,” he explained on Fox News .

Kellogg recalled that when the USSR annexed the Baltic territories, the US never said that the Soviet Union “owned” them. It simply said that they were under Soviet domination.

Speaking about the issue of war in Ukraine, he noted that the issue of territories should be looked at in the long term, but “this is part of the negotiations.”

“We need a real stable peace that is actually guaranteed in terms of having a security agreement between all parties that is long-term and very, very sustainable. A lot of that is going to depend on the Europeans. This is happening in their backyard, so it is in their interest to do that,” Trump’s special envoy added.

  1. Kellogg and his fellow clowns in Washington rolled over on their backs with their tails between their legs.

Well, get the fuck out of it then, and leave it to the Europeans. It certainly couldn’t get any worse.
