Operators of unmanned systems from Ukraine’s Steel Border Brigade have carried out a series of strikes against russian targets on the Kursk and North Slobozhanske directions.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported the results of the operation on Tuesday, September 8, publishing video footage of the strikes.

According to the report, Ukrainian drones targeted a range of russian positions and equipment during the operation. The strikes resulted in the destruction of russian personnel as well as several types of military and field infrastructure.

The reported targets included seven shelters, three generators, two ammunition depots, a vehicle, an artillery gun and russian unmanned aerial vehicle.

The brigade’s drone operators also targeted russian BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher. Russian occupation forces had attempted to conceal the system among trees.

Despite the attempt to hide the launcher, the Grad system was detected and subsequently struck by Ukrainian attack drones.

The destruction of the Grad was described as the main target of the operation, while the other strikes accounted for a broad range of russian assets targeted by the brigade’s unmanned systems.
