Russian forces have lost 293 personnel over the past day on the Tavriia front in Ukraine’s south – 50 killed and 243 injured – plus 25 pieces of military equipment.

Quote: “The successful movement of the defence forces on the Tavriia front continues.Artillery units carried out 1,218 fire missions during the day.
Over the last day, the enemy lost 293 people (50 killed, 243 injured).”
Details: Tarnavskyi also reported that 25 pieces of Russian military equipment were destroyed: one tank, four armoured fighting vehicles, nine artillery systems and mortars, one anti-tank guided missile, one UAV, and nine motor vehicles.
Five Russian ammunition storage points, one command post and one observation post were also destroyed.

A very nice result for one day and in one area.
Sir OFP what’s your opinion? Should our side be forthcoming about our loses? I know we’re in a war and secrecy is key but even some broad based news could potentially help us marshal support. I know the downside could be loss of morale but I don’t know if there could be any upside. This question is asked from someone with complete ignorance of military strategy or tactics so forgive me if this is a real stupid question.
Maybe the various Western leaders are already being informed about our losses, so this doesn’t seem to help any to get more and better arms. If this is so, then this might be good news, seeing that losses that are too high could cause some sort of reaction from the allies. Of course, this is pure speculation on my part.
As for announcing them publicly, I think that this should be kept hush-hush, Sir Cap. It doesn’t help anyone to know the loses, not the soldiers and not the civilians. It would also hand the cockroaches propaganda material on a silver platter.
