Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has codified the domestically produced Dovbush T40 unmanned aerial system, which can reach Siberia, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense press service.

The new multifunctional strategic-level unmanned aerial vehicle is designed for deep reconnaissance and fire adjustment, as well as for carrying out precision strikes at significant distances from the line of contact.

The Dovbush T40 has a wingspan of nearly 5 meters and can remain airborne for more than 24 hours. Its operational range is sufficient to strike targets beyond the Urals and in Russia’s Siberia.

The Dovbush T40 drone was manufactured by a Ukrainian company with extensive experience in producing such systems.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the company’s Dovbush T20 and Kotyhoroshko drones have been used on the battlefield since 2022 and have some of the highest effectiveness rates.

The Dovbush T20 unmanned aircraft has proven to be an optimal solution for medium-range reconnaissance, real-time artillery fire adjustment, and precision strikes.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense said that the Defense Forces were using available resources effectively. According to the ministry, around $3,000 was spent to eliminate one Russian soldier.

Earlier, Special Operations Forces Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi said that Russia continues to increase the number of missile and drone attacks against Ukraine. At the same time, Ukrainian forces are stepping up strikes on enemy military facilities and logistics hubs behind Russian lines.
