Lithuania is ready to help with the repair of Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery systems used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas.
What is known
It is assumed that Lithuania will repair the Panzerhaubitze 2000 at the Lithuania Defense Services enterprise. It was created at the beginning of the summer of 2022 by the German companies Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann for the logistical support of Lithuanian and NATO military equipment on the territory of the Baltic states. In addition to Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery installations, the Lithuania Defense Services enterprise with an area of almost 12,000 square meters. km can repair PUMA, Boxer, Bergenpanzer armored vehicles and German Leopard 2 tanks.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine received 18 155-mm PzH 2000 howitzers on a tracked chassis. Germany transferred 10 artillery installations to Ukraine. The rest of the guns were delivered from the Netherlands.

So, the Panzerhaubitze 2000, which can’t handle the rate of fire in this war, are already ripe for repairs. That doesn’t look well for German “quality”. Maybe that’s why Scholz refuses to send Leopards. They could be just as shoddy.
Anyway, the mystery from last week is thus solved.
Maybe they can get LeClerc tanks from France. I’ve seen reports that said they are as good, if not better, than the Abrams.

Germany is not the country I knew back in the 60s. It had an Army worthy of the name then. Now it is neglected, other than for ceremonial purposes.
It’s not even the professionalism of the army it seems to be the population. They just don’t give a shit until it affects them then cry like babies.
No, Germany today is vastly different from back then. It’s basically turning into a stinking shithole. Most of its cities already are.
