Ukraine supports US actions against Iran – Foreign Ministry

The US and Israel have sent Iran a clear signal with their actions about the inadmissibility of the policy of destabilizing the situation in the Middle East. A decisive policy of “peace through strength” can strengthen international peace and security in the Middle East and in Europe. This is announced in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Sunday, June 22.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Iranian nuclear program must be put to an end so that it no longer poses any threats to humanity, since many years of peace efforts have not yielded results. The policy of the Iranian regime undermines international security and also helps russia’s aggression against Ukraine. In addition, Iran destabilizes the situation in the Middle East with the help of its proxies.

“We are convinced that the measures taken by the United States together with Israel against Iranian nuclear facilities have sent a clear signal to the Iranian regime that it is inadmissible to continue its policy aimed at destabilizing the security situation in the Middle East,” the Foreign Ministry stressed.

Ukraine has the moral right to state that the elimination of the Iranian nuclear program will make the Middle East region and the whole world safer, the ministry stressed. The Foreign Ministry also called on Iran to stop assisting russia in the war against Ukraine

“We are convinced that it is the resolute policy of “peace through strength”, which is already depriving the Iranian regime of the means of terror and destabilization of the region, that is capable of strengthening international peace and security not only in the Middle East, but also in Europe,” the Foreign Ministry noted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 22, US President Donald Trump announced that the US military had carried out a series of strikes on Iranian nuclear program facilities.

    • Far from it, Sir Red. I’m rooting for the Iranian people to overthrow the Islamic regime. Which seems less likely following trumpkov’s attack.

The US had an agreement with Iran to limit their uranium enrichment, but our idiot 45th president withdrew from that treaty.

Pointing out that there’s apparently no evidence suggesting that Iran is close to producing nukes isn’t siding with the “Islamonazis”. It’s a lot more likely that the explanation for bombing them is what trumpkov said back in 2012 and 2013:

Oct. 9, 2012: “Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in tailspin – watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.”

Sept. 16, 2013: “I predict that President Obama will at some point attack Iran in order to save face!”

Sept. 25, 2013: “Remember what I previously said — Obama will someday attack Iran in order to show how tough he is.”

  1. So do I. I relish the thought of the mullahs and their sheep getting a taste of what terror their weapons are having on Ukrainian civilians. The more bombs on them, the better.
