On the night of August 24, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the federal state-owned enterprise “Kamensky Combine” in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Region, Russia. It is known that the enterprise is part of the Russian military-industrial complex.
The facility is also involved in the production of solid rocket fuel, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
After the attack, a fire was recorded on the territory of the facility. The Ukrainian side is currently clarifying the extent of the damage caused to the enterprise.
“Kamensky Plant” specializes in the production of solid rocket fuel, which is used, in particular, for ammunition for the Uragan, Smerch, and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems. The company’s products are also used for a number of missile systems and aircraft weapons.
Recently, explosions were heard in the Samara and Saratov regions, and Russians complained about drone attacks. After the explosions, smoke was visible over several objects important to the aggressor state.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that explosions were heard in several regions of the Russian Federation at once, particularly in the south. It is reported that three or even four warehouse complexes of the large Russian marketplace Ozon were hit.
