Ukrainian forces carried out a series of strikes against russian military infrastructure, targeting air defense systems, drone control centers, and command positions across several regions

Ukrainian forces carried out a series of strikes against russian military targets on temporarily occupied territories and inside russia, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The attacks targeted air defense systems, drone command infrastructure, and command posts used to coordinate russian military operations.

One of the key targets was the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun system, which was struck near the settlement of Novoozerne on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula during the night of March 8. The Pantsir system is designed to protect strategic facilities and military positions from aerial threats, making it an important component of russia’s layered air defense network.

In the same area, Ukrainian forces also hit the BK-16 landing craft, a fast assault boat typically used for transporting troops and conducting coastal operations. Destroying or damaging such vessels can reduce the enemy’s ability to maneuver forces along the coastline and support amphibious or rapid-response missions.

Ukrainian strikes also targeted several russian drone command and control centers, which play a key role in coordinating unmanned aerial operations on the battlefield. Among them was a control point for Orion unmanned aerial vehicles located near Krasnosilske. Orion drone is a medium-altitude long-endurance UAV used for reconnaissance and strike missions.

Additional drone command posts were struck in the settlements of Dunaitsi, Huliaipole, and Selydove. Disrupting such facilities can significantly limit the enemy’s ability to deploy reconnaissance drones and coordinate drone strikes against Ukrainian positions.

Ukrainian forces also targeted several command and observation posts used by russian units to manage combat operations. These facilities were located near Nyzhnii Rohachyk, Novopetrivka, Volnovakha, and Selydove. Such positions are critical for coordinating troops, artillery, and reconnaissance assets on the battlefield.
