Ukraine small taste of what’s to come from Putin: Bill Browder

  1. I’m not afraid. I’m never afraid. Of nothing and no one. We have terrible, terrible things in store for Putler.

    • I am though facts. The outcome of such a huge confrontation is always going to unpredictable; even with the help we are giving. If putler’s generals told the bastard that they might lose 30-40,000 men, he would still not call it off. I don’t care how many of their scum get taken out of course, but I don’t want Ukraine to lose any more of their finest.
In WW1, Britain’s greatest families sent their finest men to the front. The losses were staggering and in my opinion Britain never recovered from that.
That is why Ukraine’s friends need to annihilate putler’s economy in record time, round up all his wealthy supporters in Europe and North America and take their cash.
We need to be sending Polish MiGs, heavy artillery, tanks, ammo and cruise missiles. Re the latter, It’s now too late for the Ukrainian lads to be trained, so there is no alternative but to send US and UK operatives. Boris’s anti-ship missiles will hopefully wreak havoc too.
We need to put boots on the ground to help protect Kyiv, Mykolayiv and Odessa. Also, crucially, we need to help them retake Kherson. As for Mariupol, we should be saying to Zel: “what can we do to help? Massive air strikes on the putinazis perhaps?”
At that point the vermin might be prepared to sit down and do a deal.

      • I wished long ago that we would put boots on the ground. But, that just won’t happen with the type of leadership we currently have. It’s up to Ukraine alone to fight this fight, and we must be glad that at least the military and financial help it gets is consistent and increasing in size and scope.

But even worse, putler’s murder gang are plotting genocide of civilians and destruction of cities in Donbas. This just cannot be allowed to happen.

      • There is a difficult balance as it is, to destroy Putin and his army. We have to be careful we do not help Putin by destroying his army. It is difficult.
If it looks to the Russian people that Putin is the underdog, he can survive this war. But, if it remains the great Russia and Belarus vs little Ukraine…and Ukraine wins…Putin looks weak and loses. The other difficulty is watching Ukrainians getting killed in the process.

        • If, God forbid, putler was to succeed in taking the entire Donbas, Ukrainian losses would be catastrophic and there would be no peace process. Putler would consolidate his gains and build up for another massive assault on Ukraine within a couple of years.
That is why the west needs to put on an overwhelming show of strength to force the snarling little rat to the negotiating table now.

      • Of course, everything you say is correct. I wish I had more confidence in our sponge in the Yellow House.
Having said that, Scradge, I am counting on a few things in Ukraine’s favor. Besides the ones I’ve already mentioned, there is mafia land’s inability to change its stripes in a relatively short time. It’s stuck with a shitty military, no matter what they might have learned. Much of their capabilities have been wasted. The economy is sinking fast, making it nigh impossible to manufacture replacements. Maybe – just maybe – we have boots on the ground and/or have sent weapons that no one knows about. I remain confident that, although it might very well be a bloodbath – Ukraine will win in the end.
