Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will send a Ukrainian delegation to Istanbul for negotiations with the Russian side. 

He stated this at a press conference after a meeting with Erdogan,  Censor.NET reports .

“Out of respect for Trump and Erdogan and in an attempt to achieve at least the first steps to end the war, I decided to send a delegation to Istanbul, led by Rustem Umerov,” Zelenskyy noted.

The Ukrainian delegation at the talks in Istanbul intends to discuss a ceasefire, the head of state added.
