Ukraine-Russia trade turnover drops threefold

Ukraine-Russia trade turnover has dropped almost threefold since 2014 and totaled $6.9 billion for the first half of 2019.

“The list of top-10 trading partners of the Russian Federation has undergone only one change over the past five years as Ukraine fell out of it. Ukraine-Russia trade turnover has dropped almost threefold since 2014, from $18.5 billion to $6.9 billion in the first half of this year,” the Kommersant Russian newspaper reports.

Kazakhstan took Ukraine’s place with $8.9 billion in trade turnover with Russia.

According to the Kommersant, the foreign trade turnover of the Russian Federation in the first half of 2019 amounted to $318 billion, down 3.3% compared to the first half of 2017 ($329 billion).

  1. I suppose he has to keep Kaz on side or there would be no more space missions, but the Kazakhs are thought of as untermensch by the Ivans so will probably get dropped like a steaming turd once they have raped the Country dry.

    Meanwhile Ukraine prospers in many ways as it grows closer to the West, who have always respected the Ukrainians.
