Ukraine received permission to strike Russia: Italy made a statement

The head of the Italian Foreign Ministry says that they will not allow their weapons to be used on Russian territory.

Italy has again refused to lift the ban on the use of its weapons outside Ukrainian territory.

The corresponding statement was made by Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of a meeting of the heads of diplomacy of the European Union. “Our position on the use of weapons by Ukraine does not change, they can only be used within the Ukrainian territory,” Le Monde quotes him as saying .

The diplomat also spoke in favor of holding a peace conference in which representatives of Russia, China, India and Brazil will participate:

“I hope Beijing can play a positive role in making Moscow understand that this senseless war must be stopped. Of course, the presence of North Korean soldiers is not a good signal.”
