The US President refused to specify what concessions he expects from Kyiv and Moscow.
US President Donald Trump has made it clear that he does not support Ukraine’s bid to join NATO as a way to end the war.
“But I can say one thing – you can forget about NATO. I think that’s probably why all this [Russia’s war with Ukraine] started,” he said, CNN reports .
The American leader said that Russian President Vladimir Putin would be forced to make concessions in the Ukraine talks, but did not specify which ones.
“Yes, he will make concessions,” Trump said in response to a question on the matter, adding:
“He will be forced to. And I think, I believe that with our victory in the elections, this war will end. And I also believe that if we had not won, if this administration had not won by a large margin, the war would have continued for a long time, and he (Putin) would have wanted to take everything.”
Asked what concessions the Russian leader would have to make, Trump replied: “I don’t want to tell you now.”
He also reiterated that he plans to meet with Putin soon and hopes to reach an agreement to end the war. However, the US president declined to specify what concessions he expects from Kyiv and Moscow.

Nope, putler did your thinking for you. Since 2008 when Ukraine applied, there was never a snowball in hell’s chance of Ukraine joining NATO. Putler saw the debacle in Afghanistan, a weak Biden a EU dependent on russian gas and attacked Ukraine, because he thought he could get away with a quick coup and retreat unscathed. Then the wheels fell off, literally.
The next, and genuine, president can negate each and every measure this fake one is putting into place, including Ukraine’s NATO membership. It’s just a matter of waiting four years.
