Ukraine mass-produces attack drones with a range of more than 1000 kilometers, – Ukroboronprom

This was achieved thanks to the cooperation between state-owned defense enterprises and private specialists.

Ukraine has launched its own long-range attack drones into mass production . General Director of Ukroboronprom German Smetanin spoke about this in an interview with ArmyInform .

According to him, it is these drones that are used to strike enemy strategic targets at a distance of 1000 km or more.

“We have become more non-linear and innovative. Russia has huge resources and a super-powerful industry, so there is no point in blindly copying its approach. We are forced to be more flexible and inventive (…) Our enterprises have made a significant contribution, establishing close cooperation with private companies and helping them scale up production,” said the director of the state concern.

At the same time, Smetanin warns against underestimating such a powerful enemy as Russia.

“What we managed to get ahead of them in was achieved through the titanic efforts of the workers of our defense enterprises. For example, in some areas we are quickly mastering technologies that are new to us,” he said.
