Ukraine is working on creating its own analogue of the Patriot system, – Zelensky

According to the president, it will be difficult for Ukraine without American Patriots.

Ukraine has not yet received all the Patriot systems that it agreed on with the United States last summer. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference during the forum “Ukraine. Year 2025”.

“We are working on these issues, air defense systems, and we are also working on Ukrainian analogues,” the head of state noted.

He was also asked what the consequences might be for Ukraine without US assistance, to which Zelensky responded:

“Imagine, there is 20% less aid. That is why I said that we expect it not to stop. Secondly, we are discussing an increase (in aid – UNIAN) from Europe and regarding separate EU financing of our domestic production.”

He added that Ukraine is also negotiating with other non-European states on strengthening our state and the possibility of purchasing serious arms packages.

“In my opinion, there are good results there,” Zelensky added.
